If another person, spouse or not, has their name on the deed/title and they live in the home, they will be added as a named insured. You can either call your insurance company or log into your account online to add a person to your policy.
Most insurers allow you to add a significant other, such as a boyfriend, girlfriend, fiancé, or domestic partner, to your car insurance policy if you live together.
